really unique or memorable mod? Thread

Hey,

Has anyone ever played a really memorable game or mod that make you think, or was really unique, or interested you a lot, or seemed really arty, or even went so far as to change your life?

For me, i have to say that the most thought-provoking mod i ever played was HalfQuake: Amen.
Ico on the PS2 was a really out there game too...

Would anyone else care to share?

Pirates Vikings and Knights (Just because it's so great)

Hammy bob mod (it's very uhh, artistic )

Splinter cell: Pandora tommorow (Really interesting multiplayer)

Hostile Intent (Bash it all you want, but I like it, not for the realism but for how tactical it is and the teamwork involved)

Metal Gear Solid series.
Final Fantasy series.
Legacy Of Kain series.
maybe Dynasty Warriors/Kessen/Romance of the three kingdoms series.

Red Alert 1

Desert Crisis for HL

red alert 1 = one of the best strategy games

and in hostile intent you can kill everybody on yourself, you only need to have ping under 300 (examples? me:P)

i really liked x-wing vs tiefighter. first game i ever really played online, the minuscle community brought me down though.

half-life deathmatch, but only after i saw a demo of the worlds best player GaRpY play it.
then i realized that the normal so called 'wannabe realistic' games like dod, cs and such are not what i want.
and i started to play quake 3 CPMA and quake in general. and i am happy i made this change. :]

i said FF7 then i realized this thread isnt about games

Mod = Operation: Na Pali (UT), Doom III (Doom)

Painkeep was definitely a memorable one

counterstrike! lol, the mod that went the biggest. But not my favorite. BF mods were dieing for a bit, but i always like desert combat for Battlefield 1942. And the paintball mod for ut2k3.
