It's not very accurate or detailed for that amount of polies. Not a bad try though, I suppose.

damnit I hate you ecks. No one really cares if a gun is 100% accurate. If they look good, what does it matter? People put a lot of effort into these models, so just shut up.

Nice, but you put too many polys in the grip. It looks Like you extruded it outwards too many times.
The hole in the barrel Is a waste as well, A texture would do just as good, but if you're ok with the poly I wouldnt change it.
Other than that not bad.

llama, I could realy care less what you think about me. Also, I could do that with less polies and it would look better and be near perfect in accuracy. Oh, and it wouldn't be much of an effort either, and if you don't believe me then I might just do one. I think I might anyway, because Action Half-Life 2 needs a revolver....

I didn't say that you couldn't do it better, i'm just saying that he probably put a lot of effort into it. You are basicly saying "Thats rubbish! I can do that much better than you and it won't take any effort cause i'm so much better than you!"
Just think a bit more about peoples feelings before posting ok?

DEAD ferret: I know, alot of people have been disappointed becuase i used a high poly cylinder and streched it along the handle. I am going to change it to lower the poly count.
AgentEcks: Don't flatter yourself, i have seen your work and its pretty danm basic.

You know, you could try using that image as a background image for the side view to make more accuracy adjustments.

Yeah, my stuff is basic when it's done poly by poly and you use primitives and extrusion. Right. Anyway, it still looks like crap, and at least make the vents in the top right. Maybe then it would look better. My suggestion is to use more reference pictures. Try Google, it will get you far. If you already have tried Google, then try it again, and take all the good pictures you can find of it, in every angle possible.
