Posted News Disappears from homepage after being authorized Thread

I posted some news about my game a day ago and when it was un-authed, I could see it. But when it was authed, it said that it wasn't un-authed but now it was archived. I am a little new to IndieDB so is this normal? Because now, I can't see it anymore on the homepage but I see other people's news that was the same when I posted mine.

Well your 4 articles should be only archived because of quality issues. Archival means your articles are approved on the site and visible on your game page to anyone visiting your game profile, just not featured on the front page. So if somebody authorised your article for the front page instead of archiving it, that was (/would be) a mistake.

Regarding the quality issue, if you check my news guide this may help you get your news authorized rather than archived.

Ok. I now see what the problem is. Thank you! But if I edit the post, will it then be authorized? And I know it wouldn't be on the front pager but would it be on any page at all except the game's page? But in the future, I will keep this in mind! Thank you again!

If you would like your article reviewed, you can do one of those 3 things:

1) Use Contact page: Moddb.com

2) PM me: Moddb.com

3) Tick the option to re-submit the article for authorisation on the edit page of your article. That will make your article appear on the admin updates list to be rechecked.
