Playing games? Thread

Do you have time to play games or are you just modding and modding and modding some more?

I rarely play games, but when I play games, I play them about the whole day... Sometimes I decide, I'll play this game completely, but then after some couple times, I just stop playing it. Then I mod and when I want to play games, then I usually play some other game instead of the game I decided to play through couple weeks ago...

If I had a counter to count how long ive been playing games since the beginning of this year, it would be um lets say 12 hours times how ever many days so far so about 280 days so that would be um alot...

I play in waves. Sometimes I don't play in a long long time, but sometimes I can play 24/7. Depends on if I have any fun games to play.

I play diablo all the time... well im kinda getting into that "bored of it" phase again... but ill be back into it before you know it (before you criticize me, im on dialup so first person shooters are a no no)

scarcly play... mostly only during 1am to 3am at night if i get the time and i don't have to get up early. like mentioned above, too many real-life things going on.

I play games a lot, but it seems as of late I've slown down. I just beat Second Sight for Xbox, though

All of these kickass games coming out makes me wish I had all the money in the world to buy them all. I also checked out the games being shown at the Tokyo Game Show, and they look awesome as well

I have all the consoles in my house and I think I played NFS Underground for the first time in about 5 months yesterday, which is the first game I have played in 5 months on console

I find modding taking more of my time than actually playing games. Frankly I don't play many games anymore because to be truly dedicated you need to be focused when creating a product.

I don't play many games . Last time, only Doom 3 and kill.switch.

1. I don't really have a good computer, so I gotta go to friend everytime I want to play something new
2. I don't really have time to go to a friend to play

I play a fair few games. Its good to stay in touch with whats being played when you mod, so you know whats been done, and it can sometimes give you new original idea's. Plus its good to get away from your own mod for a while.

I play games and watch videos for games to get ideas for my mods. You can think about how the developer implemented a system of gameplay, and it'll make you wonder how you too can change it. Take for example, Shadow Heart's Judgement Ring. It gives a whole new look to battle, and it can either add to your attack power or make you miss completely, really testing your hand-eye coordination when there are so many ways that the monsters and yourself can affect the way the Judgement Ring spins or looks. It helps me wonder how I can change the way battles are faught and performed, not to mention the way they look or the entire mod idea itself.

Games currently being played:
1-UT2k3 (Only because I got no $ for 2k4)
2-AvP (If I can ever get it to work again)
3-Quake 3 Team Arena ( Because at some point you have to kill something/one)
4-Elite forces (Yea I'm trekker wanna making something out of it?)
5-Red Faction Because I like weapons the railgun with that heat/low light scope really kicks.

You have to blow off steam at some point after dealing with 3D max (Which I'm such a noob @ ) modelling and building you get so frustrated you want to break something? Log in place in your worst game you suck at and goto town just afterwards autoswitch to a game you kick ass at and ruin everyone and then log out feeling triumphant and refreshed enough to go to bed w/o ripping the sheet.mattress.girlfriend/wife into ......

I would play UT2k4 single player... but it was all choppy and stuff so I just stick to RTS games and you know alot more games that are easier on your computer

lol... the only game i play currently is a mod... 'The Ship'... that's all ^_^

I don't play many games... mainly because my comp gets crappier with every day, and i find modelling more interesting than gaming

If modelling came easy to me like it came to you guys I would so be there... and if my computer would not auto-delete my hl.exe I would map, but thats the way it is so
