ORIGINAL mod idea Thread

Ok this is the coolest idea for a hl2 mod. I was think of some kind of futuristic swat team in space. The missions would be like first (if anyone played global operations you started a mission on the back of a truck or in a helicopter being taken to the mission) well you would board your gunship then sit and wait in the back with the other swat members for about 5 secs then your pilot would dock at the ship (I say ships because all the mission are being based on cruiser like ships in space were people go on vacation but space pirates, thieves, etc. would hi-jack them and hold people for ransom asking for money, witch is your job to save the people,) then you all get off the ship(game play wise im thinking of a raven shield type thing were its really based on team play and you only get 1 life) than you and your team eliminate the terrorists, pirates etc. But before the mission you will be prompted to pick you equipment, weapons etc.
so what do you think??????

'Rubbish.' oh im sure you would like a dbz mod better huh!? What would jedi academy have to do with a futuritic swat team being droped off by a gunship on a cruiser rescueing hostages opposed to fighting with lightsabers.

It's basically a Swat team in space; nothing new, like Power Rangers in Space.

Jedi Academy was a horrible game built around excellent lightsaber/force gameplay.

I've played it. It isn't fully horrible.

well than fuck off and play your fucking stupid ass mod you hermaphrodite. Anyway, I was thinking of the levels being not just a shoot'em up but a game that requires more tactics like, when you arive on the ship your not going to get full access to the doors so there would have to be classes like hacker, heavy weapons etc, to hack the mainframe of the ship and gain access. Than defuse some bombs on the ship than attack the space pirates or other various obstacles.

It IS origianal, but if you made it I don't think I would play it, I think it was the word "S.W.A.T." that turned me off, other than that it seems pretty cool.
What weapons would there be? I hope there wouldn't be any faggot lasers. (Lasers are for gays and george lucas.)

hahaahahhhah ok deathmaster maybe a little uncalled for but come on... that was fucked up to call it a power rangers in space come on you have to agree. Anyway fine i'll cool down but when people just say things like for example "rubbish" and theres no reason why and there there to just be annoying, it bugs me. And WILHEM_III i say "s.wa.t." i mean like a group of... uh... like police officers? wait nonono...uh i dont know just think of people who inforce the law...

hm.. sounds like this MIGHT be something.. but myself, i go for the demon and fantasy setup.. military style never was my thing.. maybe this will work tho..

And btw, in time, you'll prolly get much worse then power rangers comments, trust me.. so, u gotta work to handle that now, o take it from me, you'll get probs.. LOL!
