Ok, we all know were all geeks, or we wouldnt be here. Lets say you have a girlfriend.

depends on what your view of a geek is. Me, i like to call it gamer.

Well first of all you might be a "geek" but let me tell you im far from that. But this place has tons of people to talk to and all, and who cares what anyone is like on the other side of a monitor. Also yea we do have a small communtity of girls, but there could be more than we no. Probally there in hiding for reasons who knows why.
But hey im a football player, and im no geek pal. But after a while you always got to come back to moddb.

My girlfriend doesn't, but my best mate does. If my girlfriend saw me wiling away my hours posting useless tripe and moderating this place, she'd probably get freaked out. My best mate on the other hand loves to post in the Cosmos and Console Discussion forums

ha mine does she reads alot of whats on this site as well she even said shed play a few games i do if i eva taught her how almost every girl i know does and its not an issue

Heh, I've impressed a good number of chicks with some relatively simple games that I made. I think that programming both impresses the ladies, but also turns them off. On the one hand most realize how difficult it is to program, and thus are impressed when someone does it well, but on the other hand chicks usually prefer more active people who don't spend hours in front of the computer.

Well... the strange thing is people think I play more than I do; I'm a self-proclaimed gamer, but these days I'll be lucky if I even get to game for more than an hour at LAN parties! :o

I rarly play games now, im just a geek in other ways such an im an uber irc geek :o

ive always got sof2 runnin its sumthin 2 do while people are typin sumthin on msn or waitin for a page to load on the net i get bored easy
