Codenamed "Project: Dead" (C:PJ) is my new First person shooter project currently in the conceptual stage. To be blunt it takes Cod's idea of weapon modification and complicates it to the point of where the player actually builds the gun from different scratch (starting with the receiver of the gun). essentially I am only a level designer, although i can do some low-poly modeling. Thats it, so i need the following help: Thats currently whats needed at the moment, as i cant do this alone. and if you want to see how much work ive put into the concepts heres the link: Moddb.com Im open to criticism, as im sure i asked this the wrong way. Thanks, |

First I would change the name of your project. Project: Dead sounds like your project is dead and I don't know if it is just me being negative. I don't see the selling point of this project with just being able to build your gun from scratch, which I think it is overdoing the ability to customize. Not to mention balancing the parts and guns will also be a big challenge. And of course programming difficult. From your other post, you are looking to make a game base on COD with Gears covering system. I suggest modding an existing game instead of building one from scratch. -- ===================Signature====================== |

Future Soldier has a weapon forge. However I think you have a cool idea going on. Good luck. |

dang, i thought i had something unique, Thanks Naqser. Also by the way, anybody have a batter name or at least project name for this? it needs a new one badly. I might switch the engine. Not sure if i should use UDK, Unity, Leadwerks, or something else. Ill use whatever the people that want to help use. |
