News and Feature? Thread

The "news" and "features" pages seem to be similar. I doubt that they actually are. How are the two types of posts different?

The news posts are usually used for your main mod/game page stuff such as announcements and release news - as every latest news article is displayed on the front page of your game/mod, even archived (not authorised/spotlighted) news.

Features are for interviews, your own factions/character/location/etc descriptions, as well as for the site editor's spotlights and awards (such as MOTY or IOTY).
Features are not displayed on the main page of your mod/game - all articles in that section are hidden and people have to click "Features" tab to have a look at them.

Okay... And MOTY and IOTY - I already searched those, but what did you mean when you typed those acronyms?
