Hey all, I'm just doing a quick pimp in search of modelers willing to help me out on my 'Epic Generals' project.
It's been a one-man-band for too long, so I'm looking for people willing to donate or work for this mod project. Due to the scale in which models are drawn, this is an excellent opportunity for newer modelers to get into the action as we don't need to be absolutely beautiful every time.
The basic concept behind the whole project is simply to completely alter Generals Gameplay in favour of much larger scale warfare, so many hundereds of soldiers and armoured vehicles duking it out at the same time! We've got a better overview on our site at Ambershee.tk but nothing real to display.

It would be nice to see something new. If you're not familiar with CnC Generals, then you should be aware that I expect models of people and various ultra-modern vehicles and buildings in a fairly small scale - just look at the website!

Naturally ;)! The whole game has had a bit of a revamp, i've decided to make units less tactically sound. In regular generals it seemed that every unit could outgun any other unit / units of equal cost - and that isn't good!
As part of the strategy side I've decided to include units and counter-units, so you'll find some things are better at some things than others. For instance infantry support (a unit made up of hummers and inhabiting infantry) is great versus infantry and aircraft. However they can easily be gotten rid of with Tank Divisions (in this case mostly made up of Crusaders) which in turn are very vulnerable to Aerial Support (units made up of Comanches). It's a whole set of vicious circles!

In addition to the basic stuff, I'm also looking to include 'technologies' for each faction; each faction will have a number of technologies (China has Napalm, Gattling, Propaganda, Artillery, Nuclear and so forth) that should be developed in a certain structure, however there is a limit on the quantity of technologies available. Dependent on the technologies you choose are the units and upgrades you can build! Some units may also depend on the said technologies, as with some of the units you'll end up with a different combination of weapons or abilties.

Either way, when it's done it should be good :)!

lol, well if you're interested in giving opinions to me to regard or disregard, It's always nice to have people hanging around in my forums for me to talk to :D! Ambershee.tk has a variety of forums - but the Epic Generals forum is set aside for the project ;)!

Tank rushes in epic are GREAT :)!
