New Stealable mod idea! Thread

Well, I don't plan on making this mod, so the idea is open for anyone to take (as long as you let me test ).

It'd be a multiplayer co-operative far cry mod. You'd start on a large, heavily populated island, just before strange creatures attack your village and feast on the citizens (would be NPC's). Starting with nothing but your hands, you hurry to find something that you can use as a weapon. Once you have found something, you look for a map and set off to the weapons factory located in the centre of the island. You enter a dense jungle. It is not long before you are completely lost. You hear rustling in the bushes. You start sprinting, hoping to find a way out. You are ambushed by them. Suddenly, one of the creatures is shot dead. The creatures are picked off one by one. While you try to figure out where this sniper is, another player rushes into the jungle to your aid. Together you kill all the remaining creatures, and you are led out of the jungle.

So that gives you an idea of what it would play like. The object of the mod would be to survive, to survive as long as possible. Once dead, you would become a spectator, or just leave. So clans could submit videos of their attempts in a struggle to get up the scoreboards, competitions could be held etc.

This could really work with Far cry's huge environments and advanced AI (That ambush mentioned earlier would be organised by the AI, not by the mapper).

So tell me what you think, and feel free to nick my idea (Or bits of it, whichever you prefer).

Well it wouldnt be all that good. I mean id play it but anywayz thats me. Im a guys whois an idiot, and a guy of an idiot, wait...?

But yeh i like fun mods, do a mod liek that where killer fuzzy kitties from the planet Uranus come to earth and take your left shoe then beat you with them to death.. MWAHAHA THE KITTYS WILL RISE!!! yeh but that would be cool.

Well, I think it's a good idea. Except for the weapons factory.

More simply, what about a co-op Far Cry mod, set on a large dense jungle island, where there are many routes. So you could set up ambushes, and such. But overall, it's a good idea.

Sounds like i'd be fun, but too short ya know? Lacking some depth, but still would be good for some short fun matches in it..

Well, the island would be huge, and players would be able to go wherever they want, but hey, it's just an idea.

Reminds me of postal, just lush wish bushes etc. IT NEEDS KILLER KITTYS DAMNIT!!
