Need forum icons! Thread

Sup all - it be awesome if someone can tackle this challenge and that is creating a unique icon for each of the forums instead of the default

So yeah just submit any icons you can make for any of these categories and i'll use the best. I'm looking for 20x20 icons which are preferably simple and just greys / blacks (consistent style)

  • A box wrapped in a ribbon with a bow (i.e. a prezzie)

  • Have no freakin idea what this forum is!

  • "VIP" in pixel font

• Development Banter
  • Two Pacman-style talking heads in opposite corners, facing eachother
• Ideas & Concepts
  • An exclamation mark (!) in pixel font
• Pimpage & Posing
  • A pixel stickman with hands on hips and head facing to the side (i.e. proud guy)
• Recruiting & Resumes
  • A resume (i.e. white page with lines on it)
• Coding & Scripting
  • 1s and 0s in pixel font
• 2D Graphics
  • A paintbrush
• 3D Modeling & Animating
  • A triangle-based pyramid
• Level Design
  • A hammer
• Audio / Visual
  • An ear / eye

• PC Gaming
  • A PC monitor on top of an oldskool desktop case
• Console Gaming
  • A box with a cart sticking out of the top and controller ports at the front (i.e. oldskool cartridge console like the SNES or Megadrive)
• Handheld Gaming
  • A GBA-style handheld icon (i.e. sideways)
• Tech Support
  • A question mark (?) in pixel font

Crispy, my original concepts I drew awhile ago, before this post, I actually had a pac man looking head for general banter. =P

Well i bothered myself to make a few more before going to sleep, but here they are:
General Banter:
Site feedback: It's really hard to make tick pixel by pixel
Contests & Giveaways: Incomplete. I almost had an headache wondering how to add an proper ribbon to this. Man it's really hard. But I have an complete version of 2d one:

PS: these have an white backround, they need transparent backround to properly fit, but that an be done later or never.

Yeah this is a big improvement. I originally was gonna have a hammer for 3D art (sculpture), but 'hammer' is more associated with 'building' (in English a verb and a noun that both fit into level design). I couldn't come up with a good icon for modelling, the 3D box is perfect imo.

I think a 2D version of the present one is best: try making the ribbon on the box a "+" instead of a "I". At the moment it looks like a French flag with a bow on it. The bow looks good though.

I think using pixel art based on the size of the pixels in this example would help make all of the icons more coherent.

Duh! Yeah I was saying to myself: ideas...eureka moments... lightning bolt? No... something abrupt, surprising even?
Lightbulb is definitely the way to go.

I finished the 3D present box and did that little change to 2d one.


And I have an new offer on cosmos... though it does not seem so deep...

I promise more later when I bother myself again.

Since i had an bad day yesterday I didn't make even one. So to compensate that I made many today.
