Dude that is way to much I tried that and found out it is better to stick with just one major program since you can concentrate on learning that program well. On a brighter side I reccomend blender if you are going with the free side. If you wanna pay I reccomend Max 6 or 7. -Rob |

Lightwave! Come on people! heh. Actually everything named here is good. Blender is free, but its not as good as the others. If you're lucky, maybe you have a friend who owns a copy, and he can sell it to you, or just give it to you because he's nice *cough* *cough*. hmm, sorry, I must have a cold . |

you have to use gmax, and the renegade gamepack for it. Gmax: Gamepack: this is all you need to make and export the models for Generals. -- _______________ |

lol, oh yeah... I forgot about the gamepack only being for Gmax... my bad. But hey, for other projects you can use other modelers, because you'll want something that isn't free in the long run if you pursue this.. |

I tried using gmax to edit models for half-life. Never did get it to work... -- "Well, I usually charge 5 bucks for these, but since it's YOU man... it's 10." |
