A single player mod using Half-life 1 or quake 3 engine to make a superman game. The reason I bring up Quake 3 and half-life 1 engine, is because most people use them.

I'm not one to bs, like alot of people in these forums but if I can't get anyone or enough people to help make this mod possible, than this mod is already dead.

All fields are opened. Modeling and other stuff, I will mainly just be the webmaster/idealist for the mod.

This would be the first game to ever show respect to the main in tights, god the xbox Superman game pissed me off.

Private message me if you think this is a good mod idea and you can help make a team effort work.

You would probably get a better response/better chance of sucess if you could actually do something for the mod. Nobody is going to want to just help you make a mod, they will want you to contribute. So take sometime learn to map or model, or a skill that goes into the mod rather then just leader/webmaster.

Just some helpful advise.

Battle of the Millenium, anybody?

You know, you could always base it around the childhood of Superman, kind of like Smallville. That was a very interesting time in Superman's life that a lot of people like. You could show him growing up in the town and watching as his new powers grow out of him. I think that would definitely attract a lot of people, especially me, to playing this mod.

Oh yeah, unlike most of the games released as of late, let's play a game where it involves a retired Superman that is trying to get through the line for medicine without using his x-ray to check out the lady at the counter with the big breasts. How about that instead of a Superman game that hasn't been done yet? Oh wait, that hasn't been done either....

Spiderman 2?

How about you wait and play Spiderman 2 before you say it's a good game. A lot of the time a game can get overhyped. But, then again, I don't really have any doubt that it'll be a fun and exciting game...

Oh, and some other superhero games that are good are City of Heroes, The Hulk, and X2-Wolverine's Revenge. At least, in my opinion, the last two are at least decent showings amid the terrible ones, especially Hulk.

Freedom Force is one of my favorite games of all times, you should try modding that.

In fact, I believe a great mod (don't know its name) for FF exists.. It uses Marvel and DC Comics hereos, but I don't know much about it.. I don't like FF
