Makin mo money now Thread

An unknown fact around here is that producing music is one of my hobbies, you know, just makin some beats. So anyways, I am apart of a rap group called HBC. I am the youngest member, all the others (4 others) are 17 or 18. Im DJ DFW(even though im called Dub by the group), I cant rap, but my beats are alright. So one of the main boys, sent in our little mixtape to some local record companies a couple weeks back and today we inked the paper to get signed onto FLOSS CITY RECORDS!!! man, 16 yrs old and im already in the game...this is like a dream! I get paid for every beat I make, like 150$ a song. That is kinda weak money but its money. We gonna be on the upcomin FLOSS CITY mixtape kings vol 2. If anyone wants a copy, I will mail it to ya if you live in the US

What do you use to make the beats with? Midi equipment? I'm downloading the track now, so I haven't heard it yet.
