Yes Line of Fire is back, with a new attitude. The old idea for Line of Fire is no more. As you could've figured out I go by dEcon on those forums.

thanks karuto . we plan on making it a standalone game later on, we have a couple members developing an engine, so we plan on making it a mod, then moving on to retail.

Wth? I’m from dino team and this guy wishes we joined his cs clone mod team. yikomaka is a delusional kid. This guys mod is probably dead due to the fact that he does not know anything about moding. Just a kid with dreams lol.

But yeah, pretending to be official affilitates of another mod is highly shunned here. It's like claiming to work with Sierra's Half-Life 2 "we have the SDK" and such. (We've seen 2 cases of that here on moddb even.)

you can be a pro beeing on college or such a thing but pro-fessional is something different (and yes, some pro-fessionals are n00bs and not pro ^_^)

Well well well.. I leave the forums cause Im not felling well for a month and look what happens. CrazySketch is mad because we backed out of his modification... They were going to help us and us them but we backed out of modding permently to work on a 3D engine for retail purposes. If im a KID with dreams then howcome Im 17 and I have adults on my team working on the engine? CrazySketh I know your upset but you have to get over it... Im not helping one because half-life is over.. half-life 2 is the new thing and we are too busy with an engine do you even know how hard it is to code an engine from scratch??? I guess not now you all can believe whatever you want but Im too busy to care...

This is kind of stupid. I'm pretty sure that both of these guys are at fault here, and are just taking the time to flame each other. Keep it to PMs, where conversations such as these belong

holy shit people get a fucking grip, its like you guys are running business here, wtf, people take the sticks out of yoru asses and get to work, all this drama is such crap, seems like everybody has alot to say, but very very little to show for it.

I still stand by my comment that no "sucesfull" mod has ever had any memebrs that were actively involved in this commuinity, now that spekas for itself.
