Knights Of Camelot Thread

Im sure this has been made before but I want to make a mod that has knights.

Ok first off this would be like a Fniggium kinda of thing except you have to start over with a new char every new game. You can boost stats which make you faster, stronger, smarter, or more skilled at handling certain wepons. there would 5 classes, 3 males, 2 females.

A Knight would be a skilled swords man and good at riding horse back. He has the stongest attack but is the slowest runner because of his full plate armor, but that gives him high HP.

.:+Peasent+:.

A Peasent is skilled at using bows and arrows which gives him the advantege of long distence fighting against Knights where he can be easily beatin in a close combat fight. Carrying his arrows and bow is not all that heavy which makes him the one of the fastest runners, but low HP.

.:+Blacksmith+:.

A Blacksmith can make his own wepons which gives him more money for horses or other valube good you can use in the game. The blacksmith, like the knight is a close combat fighter but most skilled full with his double sided axe. The blacksmith is a young lad no older than 25 which makes him fit and a medium runner with his armor, but because he can make his own armor to fight him perfectly he has medium HP.

The heretic can make her money from spells, which allows her to buy anything, but she is more skilledfull at using her magic, allthough it does low damege it attacks the fastest. because the heretic has no need for armor she is the fastest runner with medium HP.

.:+Barbian Women+:.

The Barbian Women abonded as a child grew on her to become big and powerful. She can use any wepon she finds for she is skilled with all. because she wears heavy fur to keep warm she is a slow runner but with high HP and very skilled with horses.

If you guys like this than maybe ill write a more detailed story about each character, I dont think i can make this a mod tho because i have no idea how

This idea would be tuf to pull off, but go for it, so as your heading this up i suppose...?

Thats the thing i wanna know if its a good idea to make a mod out of.....and if it is i probably couldnt make it anyways LoL

its a good idea, none the less. you would need some tallent...any skill in your background?

I like the idea.. hl2 prolly is a good engine.. however.. add some rpg, mmo, and fps mixture to it.. that alone would boost ur mod .. those three things are very asked for lately.. or so recent studies say.

Back on to the topic, if this is for HL2 you might want to get a coder to catch that SDK thats coming out SOON.

sounds interesting... but I dont know how the gameplay would work out... cause these types of scenarios usually take place in massive battles (thousands of soldiers) and if you have a max of 32 players, thats not quite massive so I dont know how well it would actually work.

and you cant quite make mmo without a beefy server, and that coosts money
