internet type mod Thread

i got an idea

if you have heard of a game called megaman battle network for the gameboy advance, it will be similar to that

instead of making a model for each character, you can have just one basic net navi (game term in mmbn) and you go around picking up battle chips (another term in mmbn) as your weapons

you would fight in cyber space so the enverment will look really cool

it would be like counter strike
viruses and anit viruses
viruses upload a virus onto the net and they win
while antiviruses try to stop them

If you really want to make this mod what engine would you make it for. (if mod at all not a new engine)
And what will you need. Coders modellers etc.

And write a design document. It will get you started and underway

Well, if you're gonna start, write a design doccument that is at least 10 pages long. If you can't make it that long then you aren't ready to start.

It sounds EXTREMELY unoriginal. You aint gonna be able to hide the cs gameplay behind some cyber space environments.

i need ideas

if its a bad idea why just not make it?

no one can think of how to make it better (yet)

other mods i play is just fighting or shooting each other
so well just leave it at that

i think this would be really cool
who wants to help make this possible?

why not just make it a new skin pack for another mod/game now then?

"Just fighting" just doesn't cut it. We have alotta mods around here that are "just fighting"

Sorry man have you been lsitening to what people have eben saying. Do something yourself then show ppl what you "can" do so the ywill be intrigued to join. And state what they will be doing not just what you need

i can do some graphic work and learning map making

moddelers will model the the net navi and the skinner will skin them

the coder will make the codes for us

ill post some picks of the net navis later

this is going downhill.. personally megamman and cs are nothing alike in the least bit neither in this new "idea" or in any other form.. personally use the old quote from a disgruntled loon from the 20's
