I was just browsing some old indie projects, which unfortunately have been discontinued. However, most of them have awesome artwork, and I spent a good deal of time just skimming through. However, I can only remember so many projects and there is no way to search for images on Moddb/Indiedb. Dropbox on the other hand has a gallery feature, which lets you browse every picture you have in your DB, no matter the folder it is in.

I'd like to ask if it could be made possible to browse Moddb by images and maybe genres. It's much easier to spot something cool in a gallery, even with hundreds of pictures, than to remember every cool project you ever watched; projects I watch(ed) don't appear in my "updates" list and more for lack of updates, so I forget about them.

It would be nice to be able to have a visual way to browse the past developments. It could even be kind of random, because I don't know how the massive gallery would work technically. There is so much beautiful work buried here that justifies being looked at, even though the projects these images were made for may be gone. It could also serve as an inspiration to just browse through art, instead of awaiting news on the few projects we watch and remember.

>> On a more practical note, it could help getting moodboards made for your own project, since no other site has a similar range of artworks and screenshots dealing with indie games and mods.<<

DBs already have that. If you are talking about general Images section: Moddb.com

moddb.com/images
indiedb.com/images

This is where you can browse through all media on the site, and filter it as well.

That's awesome! It's exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
