Ideas for a weapon needed Thread

I'm in a need for a weapon idea. The weapon should be about the same size as some sub machine gun, so that it fits in the sub machine gun weapon category.

Weapons that are already used: 9mm double barreled SMG, 9mm silenced SMG and 12gauge automatic shotgun.

kinda repetitive with the already in use arsenal eh? try a unoriginal HL crossbow with scope kinda model to add to that already cliche bucket o' fun

I already have an assault rifle with a grenade launcher... but maybe some arrows could be explosive... the weapon can have multiple ammo types...

well now that thats outta me..

i was thinking.. make a quad rifle.. something ive always wanted. you have something like a ak47 ok?
then make it so at the mid drift of it there is a opening and 4 barrels.. make it have tracer bullets.. make it fire semiauto.. 2 settings.. burst and semi-auto.. have no scope and add a strap so it looks like its hanging on a strap around players shoulder! theres a idea.. [ i might just use that idea myself]!

a sniper launcher

nahh.. if its good enough to scope a projectile would be too slow.. how about a smurf launcher?

howabout a crossbow with nade launcher a scope and a bayonet

machine gun with laser pointer that whirs up everytime you select it.. like the pistol in opposing force that made like a whirring sound.. that was neat..

Sniper rifle with rocket grenade laucher- mini rockets
SMG with torch added for dark corners
357 or Glock with telescopic sight
SMG that can fire arround corners?
Bouncing grenades - seen in Unreal Tournament
Bomb with mini camera attached, can view from distance:and blow enemies away when the come in range? use selective targeting let some past and blow main force to kingdom come!!!!!!
Roving bombs - Like in Total Anihilation

Good ideas everyone. I think I can make up some nice weapon from them.

add a gun that shoots flaming projectiles!!! and sets fire to its victims!

I already have a napalm launcher... Does exactly what you said.

I decided to have a crossbow/smg hybrid that can fire poison arrows and explosive arrows. Maybe they're darts... gonna be short arrows... hmm... maybe flame arrows too?

sounds like turok .. if ya have eva played it.. personally all napalm are more like rocket launchers with big fiery explosion.. not flaming projectiles..

I have a über suggestion
Crowbar with scope, for aiming at long distances.

It actually sounds like Rambo 3 or whatever. He carried a bow and arrow that shot these explosive arrows. It was pretty cool to watch, and it would balance the difference between using that weapon instead of a firearm.

Of course, I don't know why anyone would use poison arrows instead of explosive arrows...
