I'm hoping that with my new knowledge of how to convert sketchup files to XSI that I'll be able to add this assault rifle into a game...If anyone can send a converter or just a really down to earth every freakin' little step detail and explanation because in reality, beyond the tools, I don't know what .dds stands for, I don't know what .kmz is and for not surprisingly everyone throws those words around like their everday chit chat. And thats probably the case.

Here is some picture of the gun, if anyone would like to point out place I could lessen detail with, go right ahead :)Photobucket

the "slider" on the left (ccorrect word escapes me atm) can be done with lesser polies, the barrel too
in general, the things that are round can take up quite the amount of polies :)

Does sketchup have a .obj export/import? That's a common format frequently used to transfer models between programs. (including xsi)

Apparently the Pro version but if you convert it to put it on the Google's Earth that the file type is basically .zip in disguise like a spy >_>
