ok, jimi you said that you use 3ds max right, well if you dont know ink & paint you have much 2 lern, but im here for ya, open the material editor, default key is "m" then click the button where it says "standard" and double click ink & paint in the new window that pops up, then select what color, and set paint levels to 5, or whatever you want, this determines how many levels of shadows you want (the more you put, the less it will look cartoonish, the less you put, the less shadows will appear on your gun, hiding all of its details, so it works best at 5), and mess with the settings on the bottom, this is what i did: check the box labled "variable width" and in the two boxes underneath it labled "min" and "max" type "1.0" in each of them or else the ink lines will be wayyy to thick, then uncheck the box labled "SmGroup" and then drag the material onto your gun and render o yea guys the point of the clip is to show you i got it to fit exactly 12 bullets i love when everything just works out - Edited By KrAyZiE On Thu 19th, Feb 2004 @ 2:42:15pm --

Yay, it works! Haven't checked all features in 3dsmax, I only use it for modeling and unwrapping UVW... Can I have ink&paint+skin texture? |
