Chis, look at your sig, and then ask me. Lol, boxing day is when you get people who have helped you in the year something. It is recognised as a holiday in nearly all English speaking countries, here is a little thing from a canadian website I found:

Boxing Day

The day after Christmas, the Feast of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr, is better known as Boxing Day. The term may come from the opening of church poor boxes that day; maybe from the earthenware boxes with which boy apprentices collected money at the doors of their masters' clients.

Nowadays, we often see, in certain families, gifts (boxes) given to those who provide services throughout the year.

"Boxing Day" is listed in the Canada Labour Code as a holiday.

Okay, but I wished you a merry boxing day so... Yeah. Now you know what it is, and next time, don't ask, google it!

You're from Atlanta, buddy, so why do you celebrate Canadian or English holidays? It's just strange :S

I don't know anyone in America who celebrates Boxing Day. Yesterday was Christmas, so I think that's enough for now...

All shops in Australia bar the ones in Victoria were closed on boxing day. Big stocktake sales in Melbourne and stuff, people got trampled. >.<

Dec 26 2004 Anchor

Uh, no it wouldn't. It'd actually be pretty strange to have someone come in your house and start boxing with you. There'd be plenty of hospitalities...

I don't think that's the same thing, StormCrow. The effects of Boxing Day and the failure of the store to restock your album is only loosely tied. lol
