Hi guys, I need your opinion if you have expirience with gpu graphic cards because I am finally upgrading my old PC that is still alive thanks to latest revision of motherboard k7s41gx... So I decided to upgrade my PC... Because my PC supports only AGP, I found few graphic cards that I could buy under 200kunas... The used ones ofcourse... I just need opinion of what graphic card is better then other one and what are the pros and cons... It would be nice to know how much is demanding, in case I need a stronger power box. Sapphire Radeon x1650Pro 512mb ddr2 AGP - price 180kunas So what card is the best for buying? |

I had experience with the GeForce 6600GT, it was a great card on its day. It doesn't have as much onboard RAM as the other GeForce but it was faster. I have no experience of the Radeon cards but at that time GeForce cards were the better buy. I don't know if it will handle modern games very well if at all. I hope this helps and good luck. 6600 GT is alot faster than 6600. X1650 ~56W X1650 has 512MB DDR2, 6600GT has only 128MB but it's fast DDR3. Edited by: woodsmoke |

The 6600GT is the card that established Nvidia's dominance in the graphics market back in the day. These are really, really old sets though. Are you sure you want hardware this dated? |

...how poor? I've got a PC that I was given that was around 379, it came with 6 gigs of memory, and all I've so far had to do was get a new graphics card, an AMD HD6670, and now I can play most games with the FPS only dipping, at lowest, to 15 FPS and that's with all settings up and set in games like Saints Row 3 or Saboteur. |

Jesus' name doesn't need to be used in vain here. And I was just asking out of curiousity in order to better help you, dude. Chill. |
