Good Program For Editing Pictures?. Thread

Hi Im trying to find a program that can edit pictures and also shrink the pictures down by 50x50 pixels but every time I do it the picture gets all blurry and I cant see does anybody know of a good program that wont make the picture blurry and so that you can see it?.Thanks bye....

Photoshop. If you don't want image to get blurred, then go to image -> image size, then enter your new height and weight, and change "Resample Image" from Billinear to Bicubic (or Nearest Neighbour, I use different in some images), or you can completely turn it off (so you will don't get any resampling). Hope this helps.

Or just sharpen plenty before resizing.

uh, MS Paint works fine - Ctrl+A, Image, Stretch/Skew, enter new sizes.

Paint Shop Pro 5 owns, it's affordable at the least. Or go use The GIMP, it's free.

As for Photoshop - never used it (have 5LE tho), though it's the most warez'd painty tool out there with a pretty steep learning curve and a big memory footprint.

Please don't, be conscious of what you're posting.

Photoshop is the best graphics application out there but it costs heavy cash. You can either resample with nearest neighbor with resizing or as Cheap said, just sharpen a lot beforehand.

So it was ok for me to say that? Photo shop is the best.. and if u want it i'll be more than gland to send it to any one.... well maby not more than glad... but i would not mind it. I can get u a kengen to.. who ever ... made this ... dammit i can't go back and read

Yeah please have some commonsense around here, we don't do warez . Infact delete photoshop and go with the GIMP before you get the RIAA on your ass (They attack anything and give the "our music" excuse, even if it's the farcry demo torrented).

PSP 7 is my personal favorite image editor

psp5 owns, later versions turned evil.

I just got Paint Shop Pro 7 for 13 bucks off of ebay and its really cool. I know it will do that plus its just nifty to mess around with pictures on it

I liek paint show pro better but i' have photo shop. its said taht photo shops is better but i don't see why... maby its just because i dont know how to use photo shop that well o.O
