Hey all potential recruits, the modelling team here at Goldeneye Source have been working hard to produce the complete set of weapon models for the game. Soon we will be done and we will be moving onto character modelling. There is no doubt that character modelling is much harder compared to weapon or object modelling, so we need either a good schematic artist who can make detailed top, side, front and back images for us to work off based on each of the goldeneye characters, or someone who can produce awesome character models... If you believe you have what it takes please post your skills at our official forums in the proper place and we will consider you for the team. We have also got many of the original maps in progress and some of them will be done soon. We also hope to have a beta out some time in the future, not sure exactly as of when right now. Well we need a concept artist not just for Character models, maybe i should have stated that in the previous post. But we want Concept artist for character models because its easier to model that way.. we can get 2-4 different angles as in goldeneye we have to take screenshots which sometimes dont cut it for modeling. Thanks Guys, we appreciate the support very much. As for the open job availability, we are still looking for an experinced character modeler or 2, found a concept artist but 1 or 2 more wouldnt hurt. Hello again fellow gamers, We are now looking for 1 or 2 experinced animators to help out our current animator and to help speed up this proccess. If you are interested please apply at Forums.goldeneyesource.com , You will be expected to supply us with some pervious work. Animators at this time will be working on the weapon animations, and will work on character animations sometime in the future when the models are done. Hello again, I forgot to include that we are also looking for 1-2 more texture artist, 1-2 more skinners, and 1-2 more UVW Unwrapers. Texture artist - will be working on making textures for our weapons, maps, and later on making textures for our character models ( if cabable ). You will need to show some of your previous work. Skinners - Will be working on skinning our weapons, and later on will be working on skinning our character models ( if capable ). Once again you will need to show some previous work. UVW Unwrapers - Will be helping our current Unwrapers UVW map and Unwrap our current weapon models, and later on working on the character models ( if cabable ). Not really, the more the better, as long as everyone is doing what they need to do and not fooling around, which all of are members arnt doing ( that being fooling around ). This is an annoucement that the GoldenEyeSource Development team is officially giving away sponsored TeamSpeak servers for Clans, Companies, Other Mods, Personal use, etc. You will have webpanel access for your server settings and full control with no hassles. Any servers that are unused for a period of time will be deactived so only request one if it's actually going to be used. To request a TS server please make a reply at our forums in the proper place, with the intial username and pass for admin (which will be the same username and pass for the client login on our webpanel), the name of the TeamSpeak server, and a password (if you want it pasworded). Here is a current list of open positions that Goldeneye Source is looking for. This topic will be updated often with new open positions or no longer open positions so check here often if you are interested in Goldeneye Source. There will also be a listing of Open Positions on our Official Website Before you apply please keep in mind that we are a non-profit, community-based modification project. Also besure this is something that you will be commited to because mod's take time, your time. So please be sure you are commited to doing whichever postision(s) you apply to. Current Open Positions as of March 14, 2005 - Animator(s) Animator(s) - at this time will be working on the weapon animations, and will work on character animations sometime in the future when the models are done.
