chis Old man.	gamesnet did still work for a while after.. was very strange anyway you can also download mirc its the best recommended irc client open it goto Connect- goto servers, goto add Description - gamesurge IRC Server - irc.gamesurge.net Port(s) - 6667 then just ok n hit connect (once you hgave done your details in the "Connect" part __ Or you can type the command in the stats window that BlueWolf said but its nice to know how to add your own server You can also add nickalerts etc.. lots of lovely stuff dont forget , once your connected to gamesurge to type /join #moddb you can also join other of your favourite mod's channels -- Nothing.

40ozFreak	GamesNET merged with ProGamePlayer to form GameSurge. Partially over a silly lawsuit one of their staff filed against the GamesNET name, also because they wanted a bigger and better network. For awhile most of the old GamesNET and PGPN domains still connected, but now they've been changed to irc.gamesurge.net. It's the same network it's always been, only a new name. Also, net splits happen. If you've been on GamesNET for any length of time you'll know it's part of everyday life there.
