Freelancer Eve Online Mod Thread

Well I just found out about freelancer (a little late I know) and I saw there was an awesome star wars mod. That looked cool, but I have another epic Idea. A Freelancer Eve Online mod! How epic would that be? I have no modding skills so I thought I could just put it here in the suggestions to any of you faithful freelancer modders that also enjoy playing EVE online. I will support you the whole time because I think this is a good idea, but will take a long, long time to make. Post here if you think it would be a good idea or if you are thinking about doing it so I can see!

Wouldn't the X series be more appropriate for this? I mean, the X games are often compared to EVE so makes sense to me. Meanwhile using assets from other companies without their permission is usually looked down on in the modding community, I doubt CCP would allow this.

I have never played those games, but I still think it could work. I am new to the modding community but CCP let people make the sins of new eden mod, so maybe they would allow it for freelancers. I don't really know but I would like to see it.

They said they have permission at the top of their page for the mod, they have the copyrights to CCP also. But thats not the point of this thread

Just looked at the game, sound like a good idea, made a new thread on it.

so I found this old thread that had someone already working on this Idea but never finished.
