So, here they are, The first five vehicles and one structure Of the Defense Command mod for Half Life 2 You can veiw our ModDB profile here: Moddb.com Give us a look-see, or maybe an nomination The Prol Archer 88mm Artillery Cannon A cannon mounted on a highly modified baggage hauler and patterned after recovered diagrams of similar cannons. Not too powerful, but simple and reliable. No crew protection though.
NWR Chariot Main Battle Tank Sporting a 100mm cannon and highly angled armour it is the best tank serving in the field. A front engine and rear turret afford a high degree of crew protection while a calcu-relay system can automatically lead targets. Laser rang-finder and near infrared targeting allow it to fight effectively at night.
Prol Hetzer Main Battle Tank On the other side is the Hetzer tank. Crude but simple in construction. It carried a cut-down version of the Archers 88mm cannon and crew protection against all small and medium arms. It has limited durability against heavier weapons though so commander like to gang up on more heavily armed opponents.
NWR Portable Service Bay This is not a vehicle, but a structure. Capable of being deployed in a matter of hours the Portable Service bay can maintain any vehicle in the NWR. Doesn’t move in game though, sorry.
NWR Storch APC In order to keep the troops advancing with the Chariot Tank, the NWR army relies on the Storch APC. It provides ample protection against all small arms threats and can be used to menace light armour with its 20mm cannon. Wont stand up in a head to head fight though.
NWR Torrent 120mm Artillery The big guns of the NWR. Firing 120mm high explosive shells it can rain down hot steel on its targets while keeping the crew fully protected from small arms fire. With the gun de-elevated it works as a tank destroyer. Patterned after the Chariot Tank in order to use similar construction techniques.
