Dead Mods (or indie games) That You Miss Thread

On a whim I decided to look up a Half Life 2 mod I used to like called Obsidian Conflict. I remember playing way back when. Last I heard it was in development for a steam release. The site has media from 2011/2012 that showcases stuff that never made it into the mod as far as I know. I'm hesitant to call the mod dead as there is some activity on the forums, but there doesn't seem to have made much progress in 4 years.

I also remember another Half Life 2 mod called Overwatch. It's probably dead now in terms of players, but the spiritual indie game sequel, Intruder Alert!, seems to have poofed.

This got me thinking about other mods from back in the day. There's lots to choose from. Half Life 2 Subsatnace and Smod Tactical were ok, but were broken by Half Life updates and never fixed. The same could be said about Mistake of Pythagerous, but at least it's possable to get that working. Man, that was good mod.

I could go on, but I want to know what games and mods (if any) were you looking forward to that died/disappeared, or what mods that you used to play do you miss?

Quite a few RA3 mods that died due to RA3/SAGE modding limitations or other reasons, for example RA3 Paradox (partially released) Moddb.com and unreleased mods such as Synergy Moddb.com and Unleashed Moddb.com. They all seemed so professionally/semi-professionally made at the time and sadly, never really made it to the final, complete release.

I miss a lot of the old Doom series wads, Duke Nukem, Doom 3.
