Dawn of the dead Thread

i am doing a dawn of the dead mod and was thinking of using half life 2for the game engin but what do you guys thnk Moddb.com

I believe tehre are about 3 zombie mods for half life in development. Maybe you should see if you could help them.

Not sure on its status - I don't follow the Zombie mods any more really.

Yeah, after a movie release, there's always at least 10 mods starting based off of them.

I've said this before but a one sentence mod idea that has very poor grammer/spelling is never going to get help

well...does he really need to say more. If we want details, we could just search for the other 20 mods just like it and read theirs. Those people put some time into "designing" a movie-based mod.

i am going to start working on a mod called Dawn of Dead so dont say its impossible. its a great story too. in the mall and everything (if you've seen the newest remake)

many mods like this.. not saying give up.. just be aware that your mod will have to be more unique than just "another zombie mod"

mabey ur right....so many people are trying to do it too. what shall i try then that hasnt been done, but that is still cool? Mabey i should just make up my own story......

im not downing your idea.. im just saying finishing a mod that ppl will want to play is your best idea.. even common logic tell you that..

No mods with robotic zombie pirates, though.

Actually, I have a DotD Mod in progress called "Epidemic". If you're interested in checking it out, by all means do it.The only thing that's similar to DotD is the zombie theme, escape them, and of course, the mall.Also, some influence from George Romero's 1970 version which, however very ghetto, was rather entertaining to say the least.

not nessicarlly, Once upon a time in Mexico only has one mod for Max Payne 2 but I dont think its had any progress in awhile.

Your point? Decent movies do.

My point is, not all Good or Decent movies get tons of Games or mods. Sometimes none at all.

Well Gigli wasnt Decent or Good so no mod for it, and Galactic conquest is a SW mod on 1942 and then there is the Matrix MOD for Max Payne 1

they'd have to be stompy robotic zombie pirates that knock you down and stomp on you with their big heavy chickenlike lead robotic stompy feet
