I am looking for a team who can create me my own game, looking for something small with limited movement.

A Team With:
- Good design skills (ability to plan properly, organise time and resources, etc).
- Good programming knowledge (for a small game, pretty much any language can be used).
- Good drawing skills (artwork).
- Sound creation skills (music, sound effects).
- Good imagination and story ideas.

Good luck

And why would anyone want to do that when they can just make their own game?

What you're asking for will never happen unless you pay the members because they wouldn't just make a game to give it to you.

Maybe because they will get some money ?

And who said that i want it for free ?

Minimum $10,000 for a cheaper 2D retro game. $50,000+ for a nicer 3D game.

I wish you luck too, because that's what you are going to need if you expect people to simply hand over a game to you.

Profit's from the game's sales won't convince anyone, if that's what you're talking about. Again, they can just make their own game and take 100% of the profits from that. If you're talking about paying a fixed rate, then you should mention that up front, so people don't immediately click away. :)

Don't bother giving him advice. He's a newbie how barely has anything posted on his profile. The fact that he had the audacity to ask anyone to make a game for him and not offer anything in return (I'm talking about the first post, not the one afterward when he [vaguely] offered compensation) makes me believe he just wants to make easy money but no lift a single finger to earn it.

I'm seriously trying to figure out what went through his mind when he made that message. Did he really think people will jump at the chance to make a game for some person who they don't even know for free!? To make myself feel better, I'm going to believe he's a troll.

Awesome post, had be laughing also, but on a serious note, If you got the money, you can easily outsource most the development to a few freelancers, check the job board and form your own team.

I think it's a fundamental misunderstanding of how game development works.

Wow the con artists are getting lazier. You won't even post the genre of game you want? No plot? No planned mechanics? It's just "make a game for me" and "maybe you will get some money". MAYBE???

Your one vague "idea" is "Something small with limited movement". WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN???????????

Most people that are trying to con people to do a bunch of development work for them will at least give some ideas of what the game will include and will be about.

"- Good design skills (ability to plan properly, organise time and resources, etc)."

Organizing time and planning properly has nothing to do with design. That's management which is something you should be doing since you're trying to an assemble a team.

"- Good programming knowledge (for a small game, pretty much any language can be used)."

I suppose...

"- Good drawing skills (artwork)."

Oh art? I thought you meant drawing graphs and pie charts.

"- Sound creation skills (music, sound effects)."

How come all the other ones are labeled with "good" but this one? You don't need a GOOD music composer or sfx artist? Just any one who wants to pretend to be a music composer or sfx artist will do?

Someone should print this thread and sell as a paper magazine.

I'd order one in colour.

Give us an idea, what you would like etc. Maybe then some people would get interested in doing something like that. Also... unless you have any skills to do anything other than tell people what kind of thing to make... No offence but don't post threads like this :')

I write, compose, record, produce and play music. If you have anything to record, mix, write etc. You have me! Looking specifically for a bigger game project.

Well it's nice to be seeking out a team to make your "idea" into a reality but you need to keep in mind people skills are required. The majority of people on here are trying to do this professionally or already are, they need something to latch onto if they are going to help with a project. The first choice and most favored is money but I now most people don't have money to properly fund a game, so next is presenting an idea that people want to support. That is a big reason why Pokemon Generations has been chilling as the top game on here, tons of people know the concept, game and idea they are developing and gladly pour out support for it.

Comon guys you can respond better than this, have patience with people and try to help out instead of being a jerk, OP is trying to reach out.

If you truely want to dedicate time, energy and potentially money - keep on going, you will definitely learn a lot and hopefully get a game done. However, before you try on starting a team I suggest you try to finish some small personal project/projects.
