Control Panel Issue Thread

Yo hey =)

I recently registered here, it's a cool and interesting site about modding apparently with a nice community, thanks so far.
My first problem is already fixed, it was not possible for me to log in on forums. An Admin finally fixed it, but now there are new things that do not work properly, the Control Panel for example. Several links bring me to the member list of the forum instead of showing me the chosen options.
I assume that the main page account is the same one as the forums one, right? Why is there no avatar, no signature and a different spelling of my nick? (perhaps the Admin created another account for me for forums, I dunno, just guessing ^^).

I'm not new to forums, an administrator myself. Nevertheless I'm a bit confused about this forum. So let's come now to my "Suggestion, Comments & Complaints"

When I click on of the links while creating a thread or posting (Smilies, mDBCode, HTML, Images) the Sitemap opens. This might be a nice overview, but normally you're getting an explanation of what you clicked on. For example, if I click on 'Smilies' there opens normally a new tab with a smiley overview, or for mDBCode an explanation of all listed commands. Maybe this is a (personal) bug too, maybe not. Never had problems like these with forums. This is the first time, so honestly, I doubt it's me. ^^

Edit: Ah yeah, right, before I almost forgot. Users here have different characters in front of their nicks like ' for example. Is there any overview about it?

Yeah, the forums haven't yet been 'moved' to V4, and alot of stuff has changed. V4 doesn't actually have a control panel, and because the forums are sitting separately, right now theres no way to change your preferences. So right now the forums are basically for posting and not changing any options, so you'll need to wait until the new V4 forums for this to be fixed.

The second issue is almost definitely the same problem

Finally, they indicate the persons status on the site. There was an overview, not sure where it is anymore
Quick rundown: X is banned, - is mod team member + is ex-staff member, . is trainee moderator, : is content moderator, :. is higher level content moderator, :: is content manager, % is a site administrator.
