Wouldn't it make more sense to put the newest comments for the news, on top? Same thing for mod images, Anyone else think about this? |

I've brought this one up before. The comment system really needs to turn thread based like the forums, but with the order reversed. The current system is impossible to follow. |

Almost all sites Digg, Slashdot, Devaintart etc order comments in news by date posted. Ordering them in a reverse direction would go against the norm. -- Scott Reismanis |

yes and i'm saying no site does that - since you cannot follow the flow of comments when they are reversed -- Scott Reismanis |

Deviant art does it, Gamespot does it, IGN, I see a lot of web sites that allow options for comment display. Just make it an option to display comments in DSC or ASC order by date. -- snetErz.com - Web Design |

Well it isn't too hard to implement, infact the system already supports ordering comments in that direction, you just need to add ?sort=id-desc to the URL and its done. For example: -- Scott Reismanis |

That makes sense, it would be nice if there was an interface on the actual site though.
I never knew you could do that, |
