Right, so how would I combine those 2 edges? It is an editable mesh, and I have searched the interwebz, but I have found nothing. :(

have you tried it in vertices and target welding those?

go to line selection, then add vertices to that top (larger) line
make sure your verts are where you want the vertices to weld together at
target weld your new vertices to your old ones. This will make sure your lower polygon doesn't move and your top one stretches to close the gap

How do you add vertices to an edge?

You're not adding vertices, you're selecting the ones that are already there and welding them together. In vertex selection mode you'll see a weld option in the toolbar.

Hello m82sniper
To add vertices to a edge goto (using Editable Mesh)
Edge
Click your edge your wanting a vertice on (probably that long one)
Click in Edit Geometry DIVIDE
Then click ON THE selected edge were you want your divide to happen (AKA vertex to be add'd in)
Then goto vertex and you SHOULD see your new vertex

I hope this helped you

May i ask how long you been using 3dsmax?

Thanks a lot Angusman, worked like a charm. I've been using 3ds Max on and off for about a year, though I've never really took the time to actually learn it, can't find any good tutorials. Thanks again :D
