Can I publish game to Desura and Steam? Thread

I don't know, what I should to do. I have a game on finish line, but I don't know where should I publish my game. I found the 4 digital distribution:

• Desura
• Steam
• itch.io
• indiecity.com

Please, Give me advice.

If you want to support a popular game distributor who has great policies, high integrity/morality, and treats their customers like human beings (rather than parasitic wallets) then please don't forget GoG.

GoG.com is like Steam (takes the same cut, so I've heard), but infinitely better.

Start on Desura. It's not so easy to get on Steam. You either need to be a publisher or go throught Steam Greenlight.

I am selling my game on Desura: Indiedb.com
And try to get on Steam: Steamcommunity.com

I also applied on GoG and WildTangent Games. You can also sell your game on Amazon.

Aim to get your game on as many as possible to get the most coverage but as noted start with Desura, you can contact them about publishing developers@desura.com
