Hello I am a modder of the game Severance: Blade of Darkness. Maybe you don't know the game, but it have the best hack n' slash combat system ever created.

The game was conceived as a Third Person action focused game, and the best features are the combat system that allows you to execute combos dodge and block in real time.

The main goal is to add RPG elements to the game to create an RPG focused into arcade action, Because there are players that like the easy to play action games and others that are more interested in good stories. So it could be interesting to made a mix with a new story, character developing, non linear gameplay as the RPG's offers mixed with an intense action combat system that Severance: Blade of Darkness offer.

I will post some videos.

This is an interview at the Games Developers Convention about Elveon by 10tacle studios. They talked about the same thing than me, the company were bankrupt before the game was realesed. And it was a copy of the gameplay concept that Rebel Act Studios did five years before for Severance: Blade of Darkness.

The RPG elements that are already added to the game are:

Conversations,
teammates that can go along with you in your party,
Buying / Selling stuff at shops,
Magic, scrolls, books and spells learning.

That should be nice to make one kind of Stats like the RPG's have, and add the characters development, - strength, intelligence, charisma...- and habilities like repair or research objects.

Anyone interested to do something like that?
