Anybody like Ninjas? Thread

I was thinking of starting a mod based on stealth and all mighty ninjas. The key being stealth and using a good eye and a good ear. This can start out with the basic features and characters/levels arent needed till later so its a kinda half tc. i did some brainstorming and came up with these ideas:

Weapons:
knives
samuari sword
throwing stars
blow dart (when shot, you become bright red)
wire (place in hallway to trip opponent)
rope with balls at end that tie somebody up
etc.

Power Ups/Abilities:
cloaking. (While still or walking, completely. While running, kinda. Maybe even use shadows)
Increased jumping
create fake footsteps at location of choice

Footprints
Left behind and disappear after a short amount of time. Item can be used to place false.

Instant kills.
When using the weapon that will be specifide, if you attack opponent from behind, they will instantly die. (Camera effects possible here)

Items:
flash bang/smoke grenade/flare to reveal cloaked persons
night vison
grapple
wall climbing shoes
poison (poison helth pickups for other players to get)
camera and alarm (like weapons factory arena)
teleporter

If anybody would like to help, let me know. Or if you have any suggestions. We are open to any team members no matter how much you think you suck, its better than nothing. Dont be afraid of not being able to accept my offer. If you are really good modders and would like to steal my ideas. By all means do. I want to play this mod. Just let me know you are doing it so i dont waste my time. On another note, please give me some feedback.

I forgot to mention that this will have to be a Quake 3 mod due to the fact that i can't edit in other games, and its really fun.

I think the premise has potential, but I have some gripes.

Ninjas do not have or use teleporters, cameras, night vision, or flash bangs. If you want to make a game about ninjas, you would be wise to keep it accurate to ninja legend...or create an elaborate story explaining why your ancient ninjas are using late 20th-century weaponry.

they can be ninjas from the future or i wont include those items. these are just some brainstorming ideas i threw in. everything is just a thought. But thanks to your input. if you can mod, let me know. ill take anybody i can get no matter how bad they think they are.

I'm not an HL/Q3 modder. My game of choice is GTA3.

Holy Sh*t. I am excited about this. Like i said, i just wanted to play it. BTW they have cyborg ninjas and high tech stuff too. I would still be interested in making the mod for Q3. Cause i dont care all that much for HL. Thanks for pointing that out. I am in no way upset.

Of course its already been done on HL. Everything has been done on the HL engine. A ninja mod for quake3 would be great if done well.

well its a mod and i think it would be cool to have ninjas that are futureistic. just me

why wouldnt ninjas use modern day equipment? if a shadow organization still exsists, they would use anything possible to aid their goals

If I had somewhere to upload an image, I'd post a drawing of an Ultra Magic Laser Cyborg Robot Ninja, with Super Big Robot Guns and a Blazing Ninja Sword of Crackling Lightning, and Way Cool Techie Spy Gear! Yes! I always wanted to be a ninja spy!
