Remember how the Steampipe update for the Source engine broke a bunch of Source mods? Since most mod authors are inactive, is there a way for the community to upload unofficial patches? |

Yes but only if community downloads/contributions rights option is ticked on - which means you should be able to link or add downloads to their mod pages even if developers themselves are inactive. But hmm just checked a couple of pages now, seems like many of them have that option turned off - so it is not possible for you to add community downloads to their pages. ;-/ You can still add unofficial mod patches to the generic game page (HL2 for example): Moddb.com |
