I'm a first year 3D graphics design student. I am proficient in modeling, material/texture creation, amateur rigging, and amateur animation. I do all my work in Blender and GIMP. I am looking for a small, noncommercial project with practical goals that is using the Source Engine or Unreal Engine 3. I am not looking for nor do I want payment. Hello, Im the Lead Designer/or Main guy of the self-start up Avantis Studios and we are currently in pre development phase of our first mod, which we are using as a learning experience, our team is rather small at the moment, as we don't to expand to big and be unable to manage everyone and what they are doing just yet. Anyways, we are in need of a modeler for weapons/buildings and what not, currently we have no time constraints since we are doing this as a learning experience, and no one is being paid (why push someone to do something, when they aren't getting anything in return besides experience:P). But as I said, we currently need a modeler, I myself knew how to model at one point, but have since lost my touch, so I stick to helping where I can. Hi, I am the creator of Evolution RTS and I am desperately seeking a model/texture artist for the game. The Website for the game is located here: Evolutionrts.info It is an rts game that runs upon the open source spring engine. Unfortunately I'm not a very good modeler, nor am I good with UVmaps. There is a lot of work to be done and I want to get started right away. The game itself (aside from tweaks in balance and things of that nature) is essentially done, but there is no way that it could be taken seriously with the models and textures in their current state. The Game itself is licensed as CC-by-NC however if necessary your models/textures themselves could be copyrighted all rights reserved to you (with permission for them to be used in Evolution RTS). Mazalan Project is currently working on the ‘mod-demo’ for a new Role-Playing Game. The game is set in the world of The Book of the Fallen, written by Steven Erikson. The Design team feels that the incredible breadth of the world, the depth of the characters, and the complexities of the socio-political environment will lead to an unforgettable gaming experience. The potential for a SP RPG and a MMORPG is immense. The author of the series, Steven Erikson has offered removed support for these projects. The Malazan Project team wants to offer a rarity in today’s gaming world, a full immersion Role-Playing Game. Imagine a world of unlimited choices, not the traditional Good vs. Evil. A character can be whoever and act however they want. You could fill the traditional roles of warrior or mage etc, or perhaps a merchant, priest or soldier in the Malazan army. Our fast growing development team are working on a series of mini-modules in the Darkworld Universe. Hi I'm Ethako talking on behalf of Vector8Games. We need a 3d modeler. Our mod is called "Modern Dead" and “Modern Dead” is, fundamentally, a psychological horror game that allows the player to immerse oneself in the game. This includes hand gestures in dialogue, first-person rag-doll’s, and head-bob when sprinting. The game is designed to push the engine to the limit with an open, life-like map, and enemies that have different AI as the game progresses.
