Hi,

Most of you probably know about Project Stealth already, but in case you don't:
Project Stealth is an UT3 Total Conversion Mod in the Stealth Action Multiplayer genre. What does this mean? 2 totally different teams trying to outsmart eachother. A nice game of hide-and-seek or cat-vs-mouse. With more high-tech weapons, vision modes and cool gadgets that makes Spies versus Mercenaries. Expect a lot of tactics, strategies and misdirection in this 2 vs 2 reasonably fast-paced stealth game.

Ok, that was the introduction. If you're still reading this, please take a look at the following positions:

  • Modeller: Experienced with both the modelling and texturing of objects. We're looking for someone with a well-filled portfolio, but if you're a junior, you can also apply. We mostly work with Maya, but 3DS Max is also possible. Experience with ZBrush or equivalent is a plus.
  • (Junior) Animator: For our Merc-team, we're looking for more animators. We have plenty of work to do, for each skill-level. Your work will be given regularly feedback by Hollywood Lead Animator/Lead Pre-vis David Weinstein (The Matrix-series, X-Men: Wolverine and many more) so you can enhance your skills. We expect a regular flow of animations in return.
  • Concept Artist: A good portfolio is all that matters. Jobs will be both scenes and general objects, and giving advice to the modellers.

If you've found something you like, great! Contact me via PM, or via our forums.

Hoping to hearing from you soon,

frvge

None of our current modellers use XSI, but if the XSI ActorX plugin works good enough, it shouldn't be a problem. Being able to export to Unreal's format is the most important part. (see Udn.epicgames.com )

If you can show us something, that'd be cool.

When is PStealth gonna be finished? You already released good-looking content a year ago. Did you take a break, or what happened?

I expect you are competing in MSUC too, so you probably want to get the game done for the final phase(s). Or am I wrong about that?
It will be interesting to see, which surprise mods turn up in those final stages, as I know of some projects, which didn't make a big public appearance yet, but might win the competition. Stealth will probably not be original enough to claim the big price, but nonetheless it's a cool-looking game.

...and you might surprise us in the end too, of course.

Well, a large part of our more productive teammembers had crunch time at work, or a tough phase on college. That doesn't mean that nothing was being done. We made up for it in the past few months and it's going a lot better again.

Is Project Stealth isn't original enough (I mean, there's only 3 games in the same genre (SCPT, SCCT and ThieveryUT)), then I don't know what is :P

It's original enough for me and who knows what it's like until it's finished anyway? There is also Metal Gear Solid, which I suppose is the original stealth game. Splinter Cell just perfected the stealth aspect. And even though Thief is a different game, it's the medieval version and therefor original in its setting. I really think a lot depends on the gameplay and -modes, too.
I'm sure you're creating a great mod and I've always been watching. If it becomes playable in time it surely stands a chance at the competition. You're right about the few good stealth games there are and PS might become one of the best. I probably just dislike that it's not taking place in an alternate universe, the future and underseas ;). Good luck with the competition!

We don't have a story for that reason. Space/underwater levels where created by fans for SCCT too, and we'll release our custom PS Editor so they can make cool new maps themselves.

And since we're multiplayer-only, MGS/Hitman aren't in the list, because their gametypes differ a lot from ours.
