Check your system memory(not your graphics card memory),if it is 1024mb ram or higher you are ok,if under 1024mb you have a bad system.Go to the Call of Duty 2 main->players->"profile name" folder and open the file config.cfg,notepad will do.
Search for the line;
seta com_hunkMegsDefault this will say;seta com_hunkMegs "200".
This is too low,you will have to change it.
Change the figure "200" to "512".
Save the file and try the level,again.You can also do this through console,ofcourse.
Start the game.
Open the console and type;
com_hunkMegs 512
Press enter,close console and load the level.
Hunk error,an error thats not really an error.
Some people might encounter this while loading certain levels; "Hunk_AllocatteTempMemory: failed on 1048621 byte (total 200MB, low 2MB, high 197MB), needs283965 more hunk bytes" Its not an error,here`s an explanation on how to solve this issue.

Then you are doing something wrong,because as you can see yourself the total is still set to 200.Check your config.cfg file with notepad and check if its really on 512,not on 200.By the way,do you have 1 gig or more system memory?Or else the game wont accept the change.

Hey guys,remember to switch your game to windows xp service pack 3 compatibility mode and run it as admin.It only worked here for me after doing this.

Su Win XP, se nel collegamento ci sono i cheat per giocare (+set thereisacow 1337+set developer 1+set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0+set fs_game b2f) il gioco genera una serie di errori (tipo: Hunk_AAllocAlign failed on 252656 bytes - total 200 MB, low is 1 Mb high 198 Mb).
Questo è un errore generico. In realtà, i codici sono stati rimossi e la memoria non accetta linguaggi estranei. Questa la verità. Credo.
Ho giocato in SP la versione scaricabile di B2f e ho trovato assurde le impostazioni dei Bot. Veramente assurde. nel Livello (molto bello) di Lamaire vedono il player da distanze impossibili e attraverso i materiali.
Questo è insostenibile. Per contro, livelli come Radio base sono di una facilità imbarazzante. Peccato, perchè il design poteva imprimere al gioco un bel pathos se il gioco fosse stato più bilanciato. Lo trovo troppo dipendente dallo sviluppatore. Fosse uno sviluppo col fine commerciale sarebbe probabilmente invendibile. Forse lo sviluppatore dei livelli non gioca a Call of Duty.

Saludos, intale el ultimo mos de call of duty pero no puedo jugar las dos ultimas misinoes del juego. yes, I changed to com_hunkMegs 512
and somehow the game overwrote it. Did it again and now it works.
