indeed it may be CE2, but the point of CE3 is not that its a brand new CE, its just a port of CE2 to consoles, so they may aswell use the screens and tech demos of CE2 to display what can now be achieved on consoles with CE3

You get that naturally, its just not as noticable when theres textures (or real materails). it happens because light gets trapped in corners and alcoves (it reflects back and forth off the surfaces and you get a shadowy effect because its not coming back at you as much). You get it in the corners of a room...but like i say its not as noticable when youve got walls that aren't an anonimised digital material.

yeah, ok, but if I render a scene like this with a raytracer the edges don't get that bright like in the screenshot.
