Description
New full release, merry Christmas :) Hundreds of new sounds across the sides, primarily ship orders. Bug fixes, including updated shield impacts, compliments of RC-1290 with the STA3 mod. New Dominion battleship model from Lord Set. X1 event system has been tweaked for more even appearances of the various branches, and a couple new random events are in.

First time trying to play this version, I chose to play as the Borg. The moment I pressed the Research button, it minidumped. I did not have this problem with previous versions, they worked fine.
Was it the infamous first time dump?..then you'll be fine afterwards..

this is the better mod. It has the benefit of years of work put into it, having played both I can tell
They both play differently and are both excellent mods. Though, STA3 has more charm to me (better models and effects) than this mod, I think.
Though I'm biased because I love the Typhon class starship. Still, give both of them a try. I have both of them on my harddrive.
Get both, play both, decide which you like better. One of the benefits of them being free, don't need to choose ours or theirs.

but in the game
there are only factions instead of having 6 faction where is the other one?
will it be launched in the new update of Star Trek: Sacrifice of Angels 2?
Er... What?
There are 5 factions in the mod, yes, but there's nothing missing. All three major powers, the Dominion, and the Borg are all there. If you're after separate Cardassians, they're a footnote in galactic history, nowhere near a match even for the Romulans, and this mod sticks as close to canon as possible, which makes their complete lack of a fleet to pick ships from a bit of a problem.
