Standalone Mod for 1.153+. Save compatible back to v0.13. The 'Cinematic Version' is intended for stronger computers that can handle better graphics. Make sure you change out your entire mod folder! The mod folder is still named "Floris Workshop" at this time.
I have followed all instructions to the word and yet when I click on WSE loader, it says it cannot open because MSVCR110.dll is missing from my computer.
I am using steam and I have had little problem with other mods. Please help me out :)
If you have had WSE 3.1.5 before now and that worked for you then use it instead. MSVCR110.dll was part of WSE 3.1.5 while WSE 3.2 (now included) uses MSVCR120.dll. If you no longer have a copy of this file you can grab it from an older download of Silverstag (anything prior to v0.25 had 3.1.5 included and that file would be inside the WSE folder).

I hav found the solution. Just download msvcr110.dll & msvcp110.dll and copt them to the WSE loader folder. then it will work. you can download both of those files for free from www.opendll.com its very simple.

alright, everything seems to be running smoothly now. Thank you.
However, how to a deploy my troops at the start of a battle as mentioned in the summary page of this mod. Whenever I begin my battle it tells me that deployment is complete, when I have not even had a chance to deploy my troops
You need two ranks in the Tactics skill to open up PBOD's pre-battle deployment options.
You can then select "take the field" (you'll give orders before battle begins), "lead your troops" (everyone just follows you) or "charge the enemy" (Native's everyone charge attack)

This Mod is really great specially with realm affairs options and new troops that are added. By the way I really love those banners and flags that were in previous versions but the thing is those banners are not available with the current release. Is there a way to get them?
I can add their textures into another optional download. They'd just need to be copied into the texture folder to return them to the old look.
Actually I'm the guest who wanted those early flags :) I do have the early verson 0.23 of your mod. If you can tell me which files should be copied to the texture folder then I can pick those files from the 0.23v
You can find them as: banners_*.dds with the * being a letter A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Seven texture files in total.

Ah, I forgot the names were changed as part of the new banner pack. Sorry about that and glad you've found the solution.
I found out a little problem. I won a rebel joining a cause for a claimant and the original faction did fall. the Claimant became the new rule of the faction but the thing is the faction is indifferent to me. and no matter how I help the lords in battles my relationship with the faction does't go up. To overcome this I had to release my oath and join the faction again. it did cost some relationship with the new ruler. Hope this will be fixed in new releases.
p.s there's also a tiny funny thing where when i go to my castle and greet one of the soldiers they say surrender or die.. kinda funny way to talk to their lord don't you think :D also it would be cool if we can do some stuff by talking to soldiers in our own castle or town. atleast to get some opinions about defense..
Yeah, the dialog needs to be fixed for guards.
I haven't done anything with claimants and faction relation which may mean you've found a native bug or a new incompatibility. Either way, thanks for the report.
Even through renaming those image files worked and now the banners are available, they seems to be out of shape or not properly aligned or cut. I just love those banners cause they are so cool and colorful. too bad you replaced them with those old looking ones. Actually those cool banners are already in the texture folder as banners_*.dll but the ones get shown in the game are std_banners*.dll which are bit old looking and dull. Hope you could find a solution for this. I really lov your mod :) thanx
Thanks for the feedback. The banners were changed out to the pack you see now due to an old poll I ran several versions ago. The more traditional looking banners had a large enough lead in votes that I agreed to switch them out.
I see.. anyway thanx for everything. some banners in the current pack are good. they are a fine piece of art but I'm not a fan of traditional look but its cool. there's no other bug. evrything works fine.
Everyone who love Mount & blade should try this mod. Its really cool and one of my favorite. Most mods out their are sometimes impossible to play and is too heavy. But this mod balance everything. I would like to see a new creation of the whole game by you guys. Because you guys know how to balance it well than others... CHEERZ!!!!
Is the titles system supposed to add a title to the player as well? Well i'm not seeing any.
Also when i made it so that both Landless and Village owning lords has "Sir" title, it somehow bugged for village owning lords that the title changed back to the default "Lord" until i saved the titles again.
Any dialog that references the player's title will show it as you've created within the title system, but I don't change your character's actual name. There are still a lot of dialog strings that need conversion over to a newer title system so that the correct one is displayed.
Serious bug detected. Troops are always fleeing away even in a winning battle. I had 347 against 100 enemies and even through enemy troops are fighting back without fleeing all my troops started fleeing away when I wanted to charge. Is there a way to turn this off?
Is there a fleeing system introduced? when the morale is low they flee? :( So my soldiers ain't ready to give their lives for me hm.. So its not a bug.
This is a great mod but I have a bug in the battles. Outside the battlefield trees looks like brown trunks or green rectangles. In the basic version problem does not exist but I would prefer to play the cinematik version. Maybe you know how to fix the problem?

Are you running in DX7 or DX9? I know when building Floris folks sometimes saw some odd graphics distortion like that in DX7 mode.
I use DX9 but in DX 7 mode I have the same problem

Hi all,
I downloaded Silverstag yesterday and I'm trying to run it on the latest M&B Warband version (1.16something).
I've followed the installation guide step by step. But when I launch the game using WSE I can only choose between Native and "Floris Expander Mod Pack 2.54". I had installed the floris mod pack earlier with the hope that it would work with my 1.16 version but it didn't (crashed systematically after one hour). So I removed all the Floris Mod Pack folders from my modules folder (I now have, Native, Floris Workshop, and WSE) but even now it doesn't seem to detect the Floris Workshop folder.
Any help ??
