So, six years after the first release of Destructive Forces, I just had to give this project a proper closure. And what could be better than a working Skirmish AI? I fixed that, as good as I could and did some other things along the way, adding two new factions for example.
This is the same version as the other V1.4 install but this one comes as an exe automated installer.
All previous generals will use their (one)SW and most of them will also use all their special-powers. All generals will actually build a base and attack with faction-specific units (note though that they will not use ALL units available to them), please see the info for the Artillery General since that one is a little special. Note that the above is true when playing with/against a HARD difficulty AI, Easy difficulty was not possible to address within this projects timeframe (even though easy and medium might still work somewhat ok..) AI will NOT build any naval units (that probably requires custom made maps with custom made scripts for DF, takes too much time).
The AI has been tested on HARD difficulty only, and only on official maps (even though custom made maps probably works too) and with starting cash above $20 000.For obvious reasons some generals will pose a greater challenge than others (no it's not unbalanced). Please read the README for further information.

- T-72 HP and weapon damage increased
- SAM-site no longer requires power
- Cannon defence no longer requires power
- Changes made to the Airship-unit. It now has a very powerful implosion-bomb
***China Infantry General***
- Increased cost for the nuclear missile launcher vehicle
***USA Assault General***
- Pentalaser cost and buildtime increased
***China Artillery General***
- Nuke cannon cost increased by 1000
- Nerfed the SU-34
***USA Commander in cheif***
- Drafted pathfinder now requires pathfinder science
- Can now build drafted colonelBurton and commander
- Fixed non working leaflet drop
***GLA Terror leader***
- Reloadtime for the dirty nuke lowered to 4 minutes
- Reloadtime for the truck-terrorcell increased to 4 minutes
- Terrorwing shortcut now works
- Mig-21 cost and build time decreased, weapon damage increased
***USA Airforce general***
- Readded helicopter reinforcements special power
- Removed particle cannon SW
- Added new Neutron ICBM SW
- Saturation bomber science cost increased to 3
- B1-bomber bomb count decreased
***GLA Toxic warfare general***
- Acid storm SW now also requires the toxinfactory in order to be built
- Acid storm no longer counts as a Superweapon (if you play with restrictions)
- Armoured transport got a huge health increase, also lowered cost
- Acid thunderstorm missing shortcut fixed

It's a really solid and well made mod overall! And with an insane amount of new units and structures, you can have great fun just exploring the new factions! The only issue Is that It's not really balanced that well, but that is understandable! However that does not mean that the mod Is bad or impossible to play! Infact the only real complaint I had while playing this before was the crap AI which you seem to have fixed by now! So big thanks to you! Iit's great to see that a mod this old Is still being worked on.

One question: I played airforce challenges. As I finish challenge 5 (Camouflag general), the game crashed when move to challenge 6. Does anybody got the same error? Any solution?

how can i download it? the button won't work!
anyway there was a bug int the 1.3 version. Every time you load a challange or campaign saved game, the game speed will be the fastest and it is impossible to handle the situations. When you just start a new game, the game speed is normal. Do anyone now how to resoove this issue?

Amazing mod!!! But i have one serious problem. I`m playing China CIC challenge and when i`m finished with mission 5(superweapons) and move to 6(artillery),game crashes with a serious error message.I`m using Zero Hour v1.4(english version) and i have no other mods installed.Somebody tell me please how to fix this problem.Much thanks.

Mh this mod was the best since i found it. But i still have one BIG COMPLAIN. It looks like this mod will start to lag, doest matter what you do. I once start a new game vs a hard AI, and over the gameplay it starts more and more to lag. (Get really slow, at the worst point, one super weapon second was about 3 or 4 real time seconds) And STILL IF YOU DEFEAT THE AI AND SELL EVERYTHING, till you only have one dozer on the map left. The lags stands. So its not a problem of the game traffic its (i guess) a wrong coding.. or i dont know. That's a bit sad :c
Guys i need help here. Since i downloaded this v1.4 i can't make it work. any instructions on how to correctly install this version. My friends and i are crazy about DF1.3 and updating it will surely blow us away. Need Help Guys!
If using this installer file.
1) Install Zero Hour (clean installation), patch to 1.04 (not needed if you have C&C first decade).
2) Run the installer. Select the Zero Hour root directory as the install path (that is where zerohour.exe is located).
3) Done.

Does this work with the ultimate collection? If so how do I install this and into where? Kind of confused..
all you do is find the origin games folder under the programsx86 folder in your c drive, then look for command and conquer generals zero hour folder and keep click the zero hour folders unitil your brought to where all of the bin and data files are, and thats where you drag the data fil to for the mod
I just downloaded the mod and it seems to be a lot of fun, I'm just having one issue. I'll start the game and start to build my base, and then all of a sudden my base will explode and it counts as a loss. Can anyone help?

this mod is by far one of the best out there. Xitars should come back and make a 1.5. I love this mod and I can play it for days to weeks at a time.

Don't use the automated install, but instead, use the .zip file (1.4 FULL). Then extract it into the your zero hour folder and it should work. Automated install has something that's wrong atm. If you don't understand what I am saying just reply :D
Also if you use first decade like me, then launch zero hour using TFD launcher and not any shortcuts
