Full release of CoM 1.0d fix 2. Install over Call of Chernobyl 1.4.16. More details:
This is the full release of CoM 1.0d fix 2 which will be the last release of CoM 1.0 other than for future bugfixes.
Installation
1. Install CoC 1.4.12.
2. Install the 1.4.16 patch for CoC. It must be 1.4.16, CoM will not work with later versions of CoC.
3. Install this file.
4. Install the CoM English translation.
It is wise to check the game starts up at each step. So after step 1, start the game and see if it runs and repeat after each step.
Call of Misery uses Call of Chernobyl 1.4.16 as a base and only this version. Any CoC version above 1.4.16 will likely cause your CoM installation to crash.

So what's in fix 2? I'm guessing it's necessary since you put up a whole new file but I already have everything running with the initial repack you linked, which was for fix1? :)

- Replaced some sounds
- Visibility NPC through the bushes, reeds returned to the previous version
- Fixed incorrect change helmet wear when pumping
- Fixed an exploit with a lantern
- Fixed mini eskploit with helmets
- Fixed inability to get out of the x18 for the quest "The Mystery Zone"
- the battery consumption is underestimated approximately 2 times
I hope bush visibility is gonna be more lenient. Not fun when enemies see you from 50m away behind the reeds in the swamps.
This stuff is very easy to edit in m_stalker.ltx - just look for luminosity_factor to adjust how well the AI can see in low-light conditions (I actually play with a value close to 1 because that's how you see them without nightvision - it's complete ******** how they can see you a mile away while crouched in complete darkness). Look for transparency_threshold for how well they can see through bushes and other obstacles. Again, same logic, but be careful not to set it too high as AI will lose track of you too easily, especially if you go over 1 (don't).

I just got into this, really like this mod, I've played it clean with no more addons. Care to recommend any that works fine?
Also, when I wanted to cook meat I had to do it one by one, is there a fix for that in particular so you can cook more than one meat at a time?
other question: what can we do with weapons when they get too damaged? there is this "donate" thing but is there a way to use it for better? the sellers don't lower their prices for that, I hoped they would, can we dissasemble them or something or we better just throw them away?
and one more: how do we prevent bodies from dissapearing so fast?

It's safer to reinstall everything, saves are still compatible though, so keep your appdata folder.

I heard there's a fix for that, but I don't know where to get it.
Don't carry them at all, no one buys weapons in 66%< condition. Or if you have SpareParts addon, you can dismantle them. Donating doesn't do anything as far as I'm concerned.
I think in m_stalker.ltx there are values for that. Or just in stalkers.ltx.
I have a way the solve that cooking problem..but u need to dwld an outdated mod..it is not outdated actually just not compatible with OA..
1. Dwld cooking over campfire Ap-pro.ru
2. After done..get in..there 3 folders inside u choose one..then get in..
3. Inside this cook over campfire/gamedata/scripts
4. Copy ui_itm_cooking.script into your stalkerCOM gamedata/scripts folder..
5. That it..huhu
Now u can cook as many meats as u want..ok..hope this will help..

Sorry, but no. The intent is for this to be the last release of CoM 1.0, so it's packaged as a full release of the mod.
does stcom weapon pack work with this fix2? because stcom weapon pack fix has com 1.0d fix1 included in it so it will replace this fix2, is that a problem?
It's updated now. Fix2 has been integrated by Sasha Tulunzhi and I just uploaded it to moddb.
Do I delete "gamedata" folder CoC 1.4.16? And then "gamedata" CoM fix2 paste?
No, you copy the CoM gamedata over the CoC gamedata, merging them into one folder.
Here are the updated files only. I've included a batch file in the gamedata folder to delete some stuff that's removed in fix 2.

Hi, I am new to this mod. Is this essentially the Misery mod for Call of Chernobyl? If so, this is amazing.
Is it compatible with the warfare mod?
By default - no, unlikely. And I didn't see any merges with it. It's not a popular combination of mods, so you might want to ask werejew directly to merge it.
From what Ive seen following Warfare thread - the merge with CoM is definetly in plan , or maybe even in making and will be finished in day or two - as Werejew mentioned this directly that he definetly wants to make Warfare compatible with CoM , and that merge is not a big task to make .
Any reason why it might crash on startup? I'm able to change video prefs etc, then on new game load it crashes to desktop every time. I've no other mods installed other than the ones necessary to run CoM
Now I dont know if anyone else noticed this problem.. However sometimes I get these CPU throttle spikes where obviously all 4 cores go up to 100% and 105% power what makes any recording software fail while also reduced look around speed however not rly any FPS drops.. It sometimes occurs when I stare into some direction (mostly at cordon looking kinda south I noticed).. It might be something with lightning effects but I am not sure at all.. All I know is that this didnt happen at all at 1.0c
EDIT: Also to say there shouldnt be any problem with my hardware maybe driver/software at most as I have 4690k ocd to 4,7 and gtx970.. Also I tried to lower it back to 4,4 as I pushed it just recently however it still occured so.. :/

But I've faced an issue. Does savegame cause actor death? When I loading my savegame, my body was exploded like as if anormaly caught me. The savegame was created just before they killed me. So, I tried other more previous savegames but some of these do the same problem. No matter where I saved for example, in a lab, same consequences occurred. For one savegame, I noticed crows died too and fallen down on my body. Of course, it was not during the emission.
I played Freedom faction. It occurred Zaton level.
I am playing now Coc warfare and postpone playing COM. It is just s report.
I can confirm that it works for 1.4.2. The only problem I have ever had was that after a while, you shouldn't quick-load after dying or it will CTD. Just pull open the menu and load the game the long way to not have any problems.

it took me long enough but i finaly got to Lab X-16 for the quest with the brain thing but when ever i travel into the lab i just die instantly with out ablity to do anything (and yes i have the psi helmet thing from the lab out behind the plant) any one got any ideas on how i would fix said issue or find a way around the instadeath thing?

Any chance to lower a bit the items cost - everyfucking everything in game is too much expensive... maybe only for medkits and vital items.
Chimeras - seems to be very powerfull with unnatural moving speed, silent - not funny when ur dead in middle of night and dont know whats hit you.
And weapons could be sell for a few money doesnt matter how damaged are.
