Hello everybody out there !
I’m AshuraDX, and I’m here to announce: don’t worry! We are still alive, and we are making progress! This time you wont get any “useless” interviews about pets (sorry Maddin).
Today I’m here to present you our Selkath model , which will be released as a small preview for the type of high-quality models you are going to see in this mod.
The Selkath was modeled and textured by me, and voiced by KillerTruffle. The model is now available for download here on Moddb!
I promise you, this team is not dead, and from now on we’ll try to keep the news stories on-topic. Oh, and before I forget, we have something else for you. The Selkath isn’t the only new model we have finished by now.
Maybe you can already guess who this is…
That’s it for now. Goodbye and have a nice day.
~AshuraDX
Impressive!
He looks like Quinlan Vos. Or is he another Kiffar?
It's Marka Ragnos. From the single player portion of the game.
It's good that you are making progress and your models are good, but I think you should move on to a more advanced/ up-to-date game engine like Skyrim's Creation Engine, but that's just what I think.
that'd require :
remaking everything we have done so far
and leanring to use the new tools thereby
delaying the release even further
Yeah, there *is* already substantial progress in a lot of areas. The engine might be aging, but it's still fun (I even go back and play JA again every now and then), and the people working on it know the tools.
I know, JA is like $10 because it came out in 2003, it's still a good game, but Skyrim's game engine has a lot more capabilities, you could make character customization a lot more complex, have more custom mixed-up armors, and so on.
apearently you didnt get it
moving over to the Skyrim engine will force us to
remake EVERYTHING we have done sofar
we wont be able to keep the maps we made as they aren't compatible with the new engine , that means we'll have to recreate the maps from scratch to work with the new engine and that will take a long time especially because we aren't used to the tools required for skyrim modding
and learning how to use them will take even more time
that's why we stay with the ejdi academy engine , we're allready experienced in working with it and we know how far we can push the limits of the engine
I know that, I was just saying what I thought would be cool, I know how to mod Jedi Academy and Skyrim, but I know Skyrim's engine better.
Ah, hello Jaden.
I thought the canonical Jaden was a female Twi-lek though?
Heh, maybe it's not Jaden then. I dunno lol.
Undead Rosh?
it would be nice if we (the gamers) could pick Jaden's species, and gender....kind of like in ROR
Agreed. It would be really good to play a different species, even though Jaden in SW canon is Human.
Actually you *play* as Kyle in this, not Jaden.
