The CWC-Team developes the mod "Cold War Crisis" for Electronic Arts' game "Command & Conquer Generals - Zero Hour". Most of us started their modding career with different projects. The Team was founded in May 2004 and then started to work on it's own project: "Cold War Crisis" (CWC).
In 2005 EA invited the Team to the "Games Convention" (GC) in Leipzig/Germany where the Team was able to present an advanced version of CWC to the public. On four Computers people were able to play CWC. A few months later the version shown at the GC was optimized, polished and released as "CWC Demo v1.0".
Since July 2008 the FINAL version of CWC can be downloaded from our ModDB-profile or our homepage. The most recent updates will be downloaded by our Starter automatically if you are connected to the Internet when starting CWC.

people are there any talented modifiers to continue this mod the creators are now busy with their personal life but this mod is way too good to die we need a EA faction this mod has lots of potentialities it can be turned into a real time strategy game with campaign and other stuff i see a lot of argument about the factions inventory but no actual well to work the inventory can be taken from any other game like world in conflict but this mod must go on.
I totally agree!! This is maybe the best RTS game I have ever played! Very professional. I would even pay $100 for this game.

Personally,i'm not interest in Company of Heroes,on the contrary,i hope BLITZKRIEG could be made base on ZERO HOUR,of course,this is just my assumption and it's impossible...

Sorry for the late reply, we don't check this page for user comments that frequently.
The S-300 is not buildable, it's only a mission objective. As a buildable unit it would be overpowered. The T-55 is a very old model and because we improved our techniques when it comes to modeling/skinning we never included that unit, it was also a bit outdated for our timeframe anyways.
On our Forums there is a fan-made mod to CWC that enables most cut-out units so you can check them out anyways. You should give it a try: www.cold-war-crisis.de
