This retexture simply makes Malkavian's first armor to look more goth or punk. I hope you like it! I improve these textures later, this is just like a testing piece. Keep following my works!
WORLD OF GOTH - MALKAVIAN RE-SKIN (IN PROGRESS)
Hello, dear players of Bloodlines.
This retexture continues my "World of Goth" theme in Bloodlines. This retexture is made for Malkavian, and only for the first armor. I'm learning this retexturing really quickly. Remember, this is my first retexture! I tried to make it well.
Farewell, vampire.
NOTE! This retexture is made using Ashley's Sexy Blonde Malkavian- skin from Paine!
You can find the original mod from here.
UPDATES!
(2.12.2013) Re-skin includes now long gothic boots!
How do I download?
- Download the folder and extract it to desktop
- Put files inside the folder to right location
- Program Files / Steam / Steamapps / Common / Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines / Vampire / Materials / Models / Character / PC / Female / Malkavian / Armor0
- Open game and enjoy
Nice work. There is little difference between skin colours and this is cause line on the neck. But i think you will improve the texture anyway. Maybe some long gothic boots (with that full-length lace) will looks better for this set.
Check out new update and suprise! New update includes sexy and hot gothic boots for your Malkavian. :-)
Efficiency of the changes is simply amazing. Yes, it is very close to what I had in mind. :) Maybe boots a few below and over the top of her stockings. In any case, I like the lacing on the boots. And still it would be nice if there was a collar, with some symbol (Malkav sign or something like that). ;)
Cool.. 'll follow yer

Never mind, I figured it out. Somehow when the game was installed a file ended up in the wrong place which was causing problems with the skin.
Good! It's important to put a file in the right place.
I have the same problem so it would be great if anyone could explain how to solve it.
I got this problem as well. Not too sure how to solve it, everything seems to be in their respective folders etc. All I get in-game is pink and black squares.
It looks good. Can't wait to eventually be able to try it in game. Keep it up and maybe soon we'll have your gothic Malk hottie in a full form! <3 <3 <3
I'm sorry to ask such a stupid question, but can anyone tell me how to apply addons like this? I mean where should I copy the downloaded files?
Thanks mates!
Nevermind, my browser just didn't show me the "details" at the end of description. I'm sorry.
Fellow kindred,
I have decided to improve these textures!
"World of Goth" series is also going to continue into next level. I need some time to handle these things, since I'm not a real modder or anything.
Amazing to have fans working on this great game after such a long time. Just comes to show how we ache for a good and dark VTM game.
I really don't like the tattoo on the back. The Cross of St Peter isn't something I think a vampire would wear. But other then the christian hiccup this is a great mod. I love the outfit to bits!
Actually, I have been thinking the same thing. I'm also improving textures of this re-texture and making it even more beautiful and detailed. And if we start to discuss this further, the tattoo looks a bit buggy in her back and that's what we're not looking for. I should remove it in next update.
It does bug a little bit. I will be looking forward to the next update! Also I can't seem to find any other armors..... and are you going to do the other armors?
I haven't encountered any bugs with this model at all,and I think the inverted cross really makes the malkavian girl look dangerous/vampiric,just like she should be.
It moves funny in my game. I also don't see how a vampire wearing a christian symbol makes them look dangerous or vampiric. Especially if the person playing knows what it means. Of course you can always keep your version if the update doesn't include the symbol.
Umm the inverted cross is not exactly a Christian symbol, its commonly used by black metal bands as a satanic symbol although it spawns from the bible myth...It doesn't really matter anyways all that matters is that we have a nice reskin that smokes the original malkavian.
THERE WILL BE COOL CHANGES COMING!
Changes will reform the whole look.
AMAZING NEWS!!
I was going to download it right away. But since I'm not starting a Malk quest right now, I'll just wait for the update!
Congrats for the skins and for helping keep the game alive. I'm already a fan of the dark looks in the world of goth series!
Thank you, and also Ashley! ;)
Hey, AshleyMarie here!
Wow! It's crazy to see that my first (and the only one released) skin for vtm:b is still going around! I thought it was lost ages ago!!
I like what you've done with the front, and the skirt is just lovely! :)
It's great that you were able to modify the boots, I never did quite figure that bit out~
While Paine did upload it to planetvampire from the forums, I am the original creator of this skin, as silly and low-res as it was.
I was just wondering if you'd be able to fix the credits for the original skin if at all possible, and I am quite excited to see more improvements!
hey I have a issue with my bloodlines my malkavian folder is missing in the pc folder please if anyone knows what to do let me know
If you can't find the location where this mod belongs, you just create new ones and put this re-texture there. Simple. The main thing is to make sure they're in right location.
and exacly where should we create
"new ones"? :?
Steam -> Steammaps -> Common -> Vampire: the Masquerade: Bloodlines -> Vampire -> CREATE FILES HERE
And the files you need to create is called:
Materials -> Models -> Character -> PC -> Female - Malkavian -> Armor0
Just create those files and rename them as told. Then download my mod and put that into Armor0. Any questions?
EDIT: I'm sorry for my English, I'm a Finn.
Can someone please tell me which materials files are responsible for the face - without hair and eyes? just the face?
It's not hard to find, it's the one that's got head in the name.
One thing I noticed is that the tight-looking top doesn't go well with the Malk model due to the boobs wobbling (looks really strange), but I guess if you mostly look at it from behind, it doesn't matter much.
Looks great - the Malkavian Girl needed some brushing up, especially the orininal Skin looked unappealing.
Any chance the will be versions for the different types of armor?
