They look really great!! I never liked the original models, but the HD ones always look too clean and out of place. Any Chance for a COP/Anomaly version?

Ive really been wanting something like this for years, but theres already some stuff that bothers me even in the preview image, the hood design for the leather jacket was a very intentional design choice, as there was a earlier rookie model in a older SoC build with a normal looking hood much like how it is in this addon and was changed intentionally, and the sunrise suit gloves on the rookie looks off, and on the bandit hands looks even more out of place compared to the gloveless hands with gold ring.

ironically the addon that tries to be the most artistically faithful isnt faithful enough to me, theres probably more that ill actually checkout ingame, the Sunrise suit and the PSZ look nice though.

So after some [very] quick testing, it would seem the pouches on the sunrise suits/variants such as the PSZ of all the factions have various problems, all of them float, the dutiers have theirs clip into their leg ontop of also having their right arm mesh next to their chest when their gun is lowered [inverting? its hard to describe], the gasmask sunrise suit models pouch is espeically screwed up, the Wind of Freedoms NPCs bumpmap shows a improper texture of the normal Freedom outfit instead of one that fits the actual texture of the suit, and maybe the Ecologists look too much like they are covered in vasaline, Kruglov being the worst in Yantar or dark lighting in general.

Could you DM me pictures of every of those issues so that i can identify the models and check what I can do to fix those?
For the last one, I need to tweak the specular texture, although keep in mind it's supposed to be shiny plastic, and I that's the specular map provided by the original texture author.
Although I can probably do something about it.
Abou the Freedom texture, that's probably an issue of me not providing the texture.ltx file haha.
I will release an updated version soon will a link to a program to automatically edit texture.ltx with the new strings.

By the way, about the rookies
Basically, the issue i had with them is how their head was not aligned with the Skeleton.
So that means no blinking, no eye movement, etc.
The hood shape is basically a result of aligning the head, it's the most natural I could get it to look.
Although I could open up the vest a bit more.

You can actually notice the problems of the pouches in the Sunrise type suits right there in the preview you posted.

The Sunrise pouch hangs out floating to the side of the leg, while you can tell that in the Duty variant it clips into the leg. The later is specially noticeable when the NPC or player crouches. This error is also in the Freedom and Monolith variants.

The Sunrise is the less egregious, and it's set how it's supposed to, at a slight angle so that it doesn't clip into the leg, though the straps look weirdly stretched (this is because you lowered the waist on the models, and the pouch/strap keeps its relative position to the unmodified mesh).

I also notice that you don't include a proper version of the gasmask model with two side pouches (stalker_mo_hood_9, stalker_neytral_hood_9, stalker_sv_hood_91). Though these would have to become three different models, as the differences in the textures used would result in weird look the way Vanilla set these suits up.

Nontheless, this is a great baseline into a rework of the vanilla meshes. We're missing Mercs and Military (and the special player meshes), but what's there, while not completely polished, shows great promise.

I can give you some mods that make something like this. Also you can check Lost Alpha DC where models have better hands.

You need to improve eyes of some/several main NPCs.

The bumpmap mismatches are not the fault of his mod, vanilla SOC actually reuses a handful of bumpmaps for multiple suit variants even when they show significant differences.

The wind of freedom and monolith suits being among the worst offenders, as they have pouches by design yet have assigned the bumpmaps for the regular SEVA vests.

The only game that includes special bumpmaps for those specific variatns is COP, and even there the bumpmaps are of poor quality.

Agreed, the rookie gloves look a bit weird but acceptable, it looks better with the brown jacket, bandits on the other hand should have retained their rings, lots of character there.

Finally, someone made the Redux of original models keeping the GSC style and fixing their shortcomings (in particular, the weights of the face). Keep up the good work! Hopefully in the future zombied, hero models will be added and you will mirror by Y UV of the glass in scientific suits, because the flare is now from below. And you will also change the old texture of Pavlik face, because now he has the texture of Petruha face. ;)

Wow, this is great. A step in the right direction, as I always felt HD replacements miss the mark. Do all the unique SOC variants (backpacks, tanks, unhooded) get covered too, or just fully masked models?

I'd love to see someone do this, but for the original weapons by de-mirroring them and increasing the poly count by a bit.

This is great work, the feet and a lot of other stuff on the original mods are horrendous. But you can see some minor details that are really "muh immersion" breaking. Like the ecologist suit hands not being airtight, it doesn't make any sense lol

But you work is appreciated, since porting Anomaly HD models to SoC is a huge work that you have to replace models by hand one by one if you would like it to be perfect. I've tried it myself.

Really nice, maybe improving on the direction of the suggestions made by other users would get you "there" on the "anals" of Stalker mods, a place that is only for few.

Honestly, this is the best models available... i never really liked the HD ones (souless and too far from the original universe). These ones are God's work ! I'm using them with every installation.

This absolutely is a 10/10.
Always liked the vanilla models more than their HD counterparts and this proves my point even more. Great work!
